WRT Scholarships

WRT funds a number of scholarship opportunities, in support of our strategic cornerstones of Legacy, Community
and Inclusion.

WRT offers the Joe Green Scholarship, given to a Wakefield graduating senior, who has demonstrated a commitment to theatre during his/her tenure, and who is dedicated to the ongoing support of the theatrical arts, throughout his/her post-secondary education and beyond. Applications for this annual scholarship can be obtained at the WHS administrative offices. For more information on the Joe Green Scholarship, click on the tab under “About Us.”

WRT also offers need-based scholarships for those interested in participating in its Wakefield Repertory Youth Theatre camp during the summer. Information regarding these scholarships, which are awarded prior to the start of the five-week camp, is published on our website at the time that the Summer Program is announced. The scholarship deadline is usually in late-May or early June.
