The Joe Green Memorial Scholarship
On November 3, 1994, WRT lost one of its most beloved members to cancer. Joe Green epitomized the non-professional actor/singer who loved working onstage. Thus, it is in his name that WRT began a scholarship given to that Wakefield graduating senior who has been committed to theatre during his/her tenure and who promises always to promote theatre faithfully in the world.
